E-Design Package

On a budget? This service is for you!

For the homeowner who truly appreciates a beautifully designed home, but really doesn’t know where to start AND doesn’t really have the budget to pay for a full-service design.

The full room design package includes email correspondence about the space, a unique design board customized with selections recommended for your space, and a source list detailing each individual item and where to purchase it. Packages are priced at a flat rate depending on the room type. 

HERE'S HOW THE PROCESS WORKS:

Step 1: Schedule a complimentary Q&A call. This is the starting point for us to understand your project goals, your personal style, your budget and any specific requests you may have.

Step 2: Purchase your E-Design package based on my assessment of your needs. You will receive an email invoice for each individual room you would like styled. Once payment is received, we will begin designing your space.

Step 3: Take photos of the rooms to be styled. Ideally, we will have photos from all angles, as well as images of the whole room from a variety of angles. We also require a simple floor plan drawing which can be done by hand and emailed directly to us: abby@theivoryslate.com. This is easier than it sounds - just draw the walls and indicate where window and door frames are located. Measurements should be included.

Step 4: Create an inspiration board for your space, similar to what is shown below. This can be done on Pinterest or Houzz - once you're ready for us to view it, just send a link/invitation for collaboration or email directly to abby@theivoryslate.com. Ideally you will have at least 8 photos, but no more than 15. Please include a description under each image detailing what you like about the image and maybe what you don't like about it, if anything. 

The Design Phase

Step 1: Design. Once we receive all the information needed to create a room you love, the design fun begins! We will get to work on creating two custom design boards and a bird's eye room layout unique to your space. You can expect a design within one week at which point you'll be able to review and provide feedback at your convenience. 

Step 2: Revisions. Once you receive your design schematic, this is your chance to provide feedback for one round of revisions. Specific feedback regarding style, individual selections, colors and layout will ensure the last round of design comes out exactly as you hoped for. 

Step 3: Final Design Presentation. After you have given your feedback on the original design plan, we will get to work on updating anything you were not completely satisfied with in round one. You will receive your final design within one week.

Along with the final design, you can expect to receive:

• A specific shopping list detailing the items recommended for your space along with any necessary specifications like color, size and material. Web links will be provided for each individual item.

• A bird's eye view layout detailing where each item should be placed within your space

• The final design board
